The Stokenchurch and Radnage Community Action Forum (SRCAF) was originally formed in 2002. Its remit was to organise a survey of local residents and businesses, and, based on its findings, seek to improve the well-being and quality of life in the two parishes.
The original ‘Village Plan' was produced in 2003 and a repeat survey carried out in 2007. The 2007 'Village Survey' can be read by clicking here.
In 2011, it was decided that Stokenchurch and Radnage were such different communities, that it made more sense to focus efforts on Stokenchurch. Accordingly, the organisation was renamed the Stokenchurch Community Action Forum, and a revised Constitution adopted.
In 2015, a further survey was carried out, and a report on its findings can be read by clicking here.
Although the number of active participants has fallen since the early days, the Community Action Forum continues to meet approximately quarterly. To accomplish its objectives, it seeks, as appropriate, to work in partnership with the Parish Council and other agencies and organisations, but is independent of them.
Progress on the issues identified from the 2015 survey is contained in an Action Plan, which will be regularly updated. The current version can be read by clicking here.
The most recently published meeting minutes can be read by clicking here although there can be a delay in approving minutes. All meetings are open to the public – the next meeting is on Wednesday 25th January 2017 at 7.30pm in Longburrow Hall.
